ABOUT THE JOB


As part of TFP’s Sustainability team, you will help analyse, optimise and deliver sustainability excellence across our extensive supply chain and diverse client base. You will prepare evaluation documents, proposals and presentation materials of the highest standard, and work closely with project delivery teams internationally, to embed best-practice frameworks - WELL, LEED, BREEAM and bespoke charters - while quantifying climate impacts and developing reduction strategies to support our journey to Net Zero Carbon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client engagement – lead client presentations on sustainability standards, accreditations and certifications

  • Internal leadership – chair internal meetings, presenting analyses and advising project leads on sustainability

  • Life-cycle analysis – perform self-directed life-cycle screenings using in-house software, applying meticulous attention to detail and a critical approach to data quality

  • Project collaboration – work closely with furniture consultants to meet sustainability criteria and deadlines,ensuring accurate file management

  • Content management – own the presentation-content library and templates, keeping all materials current and easily accessible.

  • Reporting – complete and submit project analyses, providing clear recommendations

  • Consultancy support – offer sustainability guidance to clients and suppliers, advancing our supply chain

  • Knowledge management – update and maintain our extensive sustainability knowledge library

What you'll bring:

  • Confidence working with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in numerical analysis (predominantly using Microsoft Excel)

  • Proven problem-solving skills and ownership mentality

  • Insight into product manufacturing, industrial processes and materials relevant to the furniture and design sector

  • Fluency in interpreting varied data sources and extracting key insights

  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement

To excel in this role you will have:

  • Approximate estimation of material and resource inputs for product manufacture

  • Ability to assess whether products have been accurately evaluated against sustainability metrics

  • Working knowledge of life-cycle assessments (LCAs) and environmental-impact calculations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external presentations

It would be a bonus if you have:

Previous experience in the furniture industry and familiarity with furniture related credits in BREEAM, WELL and LEED
