PIM Data Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PIM Data Administrator to support the quality and management of product data within our Product Information Management (PIM) system.

ABOUT THE JOB


This role is primarily focused on maintaining accurate and complete product data, but also offers the opportunity to support other areas of our technology stack as part of a small, dynamic tech team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Data Management: Maintain and enhance product data quality within the PIM system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with data quality standards.

  • Data Governance: Enforce data governance principles, including data ownership, data stewardship, and compliance with data management policies. Ensure that data standards are consistently applied across the PIM system.

  • Data Validation and Integrity: Regularly audit, validate, and clean product data to maintain high data quality.

  • Data Mapping and Updates: Apply data mapping rules, identify data discrepancies, and ensure consistency between source data and the PIM system.

  • Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with internal teams to manage data requests, resolve data-related queries, and address any data quality issues.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Assist with data-related tasks across other systems within our technology stack when needed.

  • Status Tracking and Reporting: Regularly track the status of product data updates and generate reports to provide visibility on data quality and completeness.

ABOUT YOU

  • PIM Systems Experience: Hands-on experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems such as Censhare, Akeneo, Salsify, InRiver, or similar platforms.

  • Data Management Skills: Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data mapping.

  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic automation (e.g., macros).

  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data quality, with the ability to identify and correct errors.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support stakeholders and explain data-related issues.

  • Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn and support other systems within the technology stack as needed.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to troubleshooting data issues and improving data processes.

  • You speak English fluently

YOU MAY ALSO...

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Have experience with API data integration and automation is a plus.

  • Be familiar with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Have prior experience in the furniture, retail, or distribution industry.

  • Have experience using Git for version control, including creating branches, merging code, and managing repositories.
