Assistant Management Accountant, TFP India

We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to report to the Head of Finance for APAC and provide appropriate financial support within the team, overseeing the accounting, month-end process, as well as assisting in the day-to-day management of the finance function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments.

  • Manage invoicing, debt collection, and reconciliation to maintain healthy cash flow.

  • Perform regular bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions to maintain system integrity.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts.

  • Support gross profit analysis, margin variance investigation, and month-end closing activities.

  • Oversee payroll, pensions, and statutory tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Support the annual audit process and maintain accurate financial reporting.

  • Support in preparing budget, cash flow forecast across multiple accounts and performing analysis.

  • Manage treasury functions, including foreign exchange transactions.

  • Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and implement improvements for accuracy and efficiency.

  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks while ensuring adherence to financial procedures.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have 2-3 years experience in similar roles

  • You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.

  • You are a fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, or CIMA) is preferable.

  • You have exceptional attention to detail

  • You are a critical thinker and problem solver

  • You have strong research and analytical skills

  • You have a collaborative and team-orientated mindset

  • You have expertise in IT and finance systems, including ERP software

  • You are able to deal with multiple tasks and deadlines at once

  •  You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • You are motivated to make environmentally conscious decisions in everything you do

  • You come up with improvements to our processes

  • You are proactive and show drive to complete what you start

  • You prioritise effectively and stick to deadlines
