We are looking for an experienced Furniture Consultant to join our TFP Workplace team in our New York City office.

Full-time · New York City

ABOUT THE JOB

This is a highly varied, fast paced role combining furniture consultancy, project management, commercial responsibility and client relationship management. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable advising a client or designer on the right furniture solution as they are working through the detailed technical administration required to successfully deliver a project.

At TFP, our clients trust us to advise on and manage their furniture requirements from the earliest stages of a project through to final installation and completion.

As a Furniture Consultant, you will independently take full ownership of commercial workplace furniture projects from start to finish. This includes helping clients establish budgets and timelines, supporting designers with furniture specifications and product options, developing and preparing accurate proposals and product information, placing and managing orders, coordinating with manufacturers and our internal project teams, resolving issues and ensuring the project is successfully delivered.

You will be expected to understand the detail of your projects while maintaining sight of the bigger commercial picture. You will manage project budgets, timelines and margins, make commercially responsible decisions and develop strong, trusted relationships with clients, designers, manufacturers and project partners.

Our Furniture Consultants are expected to provide knowledgeable, independent advice and confidently guide clients toward the best solution for their project.

TFP is a welcoming and supportive workplace where authenticity is valued, confidence is encouraged and people are trusted to take ownership. We work hard, enjoy what we do and believe different perspectives make our business stronger.
