BIM Coordinator & Revit Space Planner

We are looking for an experienced and driven mid-weight Designer with a strong specialism in space planning within Revit to assist with the delivery of high-quality furniture schemes.

ABOUT THE JOB


This role requires technical expertise and offers opportunities to work on some of the largest projects in workplace design, from concept to completion. Based in our Bangalore office, you will be primarily responsible for providing BIM support and space planning to Workplace Consultants within our UK and EU teams, with the flexibility to collaborate with our international teams should workload dictate. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all space planning aspects of assigned projects, interpreting client briefs into innovative, viable design solutions that meet both creative and functional requirements

  • Ensure all space planning meets industry standards and complies with UK/EU regulations

  • Confidently present design concepts and proposals to clients, providing expert guidance on optimal space utilisation

  • Collaborate with the consultancy team to review and approve product selections, ensuring alignment with design briefs

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Workplace Consultants throughout the design process

  • Work with external BIM consultants to ensure all project requirements are delivered. 

  • Provide technical support to workplace consultants on BIM-enabling products and processes. 

  • Undertaking the position of BIM Lead on projects with BIM deliverables

  • Lead specific project (BIM) deliverables in support of achieving key deadlines

  • Attend and contribute to pitches representing TFP as a Design / BIM Lead.  

  • Host internal training sessions, if required, on topics associated with space planning and BIM.  

  • Contribution to the development of emerging digital processes within TFP.  

ABOUT YOU


  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in workplace interiors

  • Exceptional working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud (‘ACC’)

  • Good understanding of UK & EU design regulations

  • Organised and self-disciplined, with the ability to take initiative

  • Genuine desire to help, with the ability to manage simultaneous requests for support

  • Take accountability and ownership of all projects and related work 

  • Strong interest and enthusiasm for existing and emerging digital technologies

  • Be eager to learn and listen to feedback, take ownership of mistakes and grow from them  

  • Take a proactive approach to your own learning and development  

  • Confident and comfortable presenting to a range of audiences

  • Be motivated to make environmentally conscious decisions in everything you do
